HM1: HARMONICS MACHINE 1(TM)
While
HM1
is optimized for High Gain, interchangeable pickups allow for
a variety of sonic characters allowing the instrument to be used for
variety of styles. There are three characteristics
that set this machine apart from every other guitar.
1
) Harmonics - It plays harmonics louder and easier than ever before
possible.
2
) Note definition - Even while holding a full bar chord, each
additional note that is played is heard clearly.
3
) Plug & Play Pickups (R) - The pickup can be switched in
seconds to change tonal characteristics.
The
body is made of aircraft grade aluminum, with graphite or maple
neck. The instrument is nicely balanced and the overall weigh is
similar to a Les Paul ** guitar made of mahogany.
Additionally,
HM1 is equipped with the patent pending Volume Maximizer
(TM) momentary switch
that allows staccato playing of notes with a synth like sound, or by
pushing the switch one can momentarily maximize the volume for
artistic expression on selected notes.

HM2: HARMONICS MACHINE 2(TM)
KAM Instruments Corporation offers
another innovative guitar body structure in the HM2 model. The
instrument weighs under 6 pounds, but the composite aluminum
and wood body structure provide exceptional sustain and a full
tone with rich harmonics.
HM2 offers the same individual note
clarity and ability to produce harmonics as HM1, however
instead of plug&Play pickup flexibility , it offers
ergonomics and simplicity.
A
Seymour Duncan “Blackout Metal" is the standard pickup for
this guitar which provides a very hot output. Other pickups
may be ordered as options.
HM2
also features the proprietary KAM Volume Maximizer momentary
switch which can be used for Synthesizer-sounding staccato
playing or instantly increasing the volume to maximum level on
selected notes during a solo.
A
Maple 24 fret neck with rosewood fret board is standard on HM2.
